ISLAMABAD: November 18, PPP MNA Syed Nasir Shah threatened of hunger strike and not to end his boycott of the National Assembly session unless he was given a solid roadmap to end sectarian killings in Quetta he demanded dissolution of provincial assembly of Balochistan as it appears from the deteriorating law and order situation after the killing of hundred of innocent people that Balochistan is under the jungle rule and he did not get positive response from PPP party members, PPP has been failed to provide relief to the masses.
Nasir Shah while talking to The Patriot on Thursday after his boycotting the second consecutive session of the National Assembly while sitting outside the Parliament House in protest against sectarian killings of Hazaras, a largely Shia community, in Quetta, he threatened hunger strike if his demands were not fulfilled. It is pertinent to mention that he has been demanding the dissolution of the provincial government in Balochistan which, in his view, has failed control law and order situation in the province.
Nasir Shah said that although Rehman Malik gave him assurance to stop the target killings of Hazara community but he do not enjoy the power to bring peace in the region as hundred of innocent people have been killed and not even a single culprit has been arrested yet.
Talking to the this scribe he said that anti-Pakistan elements were attacking the Shia community as a part of larger conspiracy as innocent have been killed like animals and law and order agencies have been failed to arrest a single culprit of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi a well known terrorist organization allegedly accepting the killings of innonet Hazara people.
Syed Nasir Shah said Rehman Malik wanted him to end his boycott of the National Assembly session but he would do so only if he was given a clear and solid roadmap to end sectarian killings in Quetta, “Rehman Malik told me that he is going to Quetta and the situation will improve soon but can Rehman Malik going to Quetta bring peace?,” Nasir asked.
Lamenting the PPP government he said that it was so unfortunate for him to protest against his own political party but he was not left with any other option as despite of assurances from the government time and again still member of his tribe and constituency are being killed brutally.
Answering a question he said that he is not indulging in any anti-government lobby as he is taking stand on solid principles and it is his legitimate right to protest if his legitimate demands are not being fulfilled.
